Parent Engagement

Devine Intermediate is partnering with the J.J. Ciavarra Elementary School and three other districts to gain training from Region XX Educational Service Center and Scholastic Education to better understand the needs of our school community in the area of family engagement.  One important step in the process is to gather parent and community insight into how our campus is currently doing. This is being done by means of a stakeholder survey that pertains to family engagement.  The paper version of the survey is available in both English and Spanish. These surveys were sent home with your student and will be available at all activities on campus.  You can also stop by the office to pick one up or email me at blain.martin@devineisd.org and I will be glad to forward you one. Another way is to complete an online version of the survey.  The link can be found below.  The electronic version is only available in English. Another component of this training is a campus visit where neutral observers will analyze and make suggestion on how our campus can improve in the area of family engagement. We are excited to have this opportunity in developing a positive family engagement atmosphere on this campus.
